MUSIC CLASSES:

Music is an art relished by all ages. Moreover, it has a plethora of benefits – from enriching language
skills, strengthening hand-eye coordination, relieving stress and to enhancing creativity as well as
improving memory.
At Kenalily we train children in both vocal and instrumental music. On special occasions like
Independence Day, Republic Day and other national or social festivals, students are encouraged to
participate in different musical activities. Students are trained in instruments according to their
talent and ability.
The school has instruments like harmonium, flute, tabla, keyboard, and drums. The school has
skilled teachers who teach vocal and instrumental music.

DRAWING CLASSES:

Drawing is a curious process, so intertwined with the process of seeing that the two can hardly be
separated. Ability to draw depends on ability to see the way an artist sees, and this kind of seeing
can marvelously enrich the life of a child. Kenalily teaches the art of drawing to help the students to
discover these abilities.

DANCE CLASSES:

Dance is a beautiful form of self-expression that brings joy, energy, and confidence to children of all ages. It combines movement, rhythm, and creativity, helping young learners develop better coordination, balance, flexibility, and a sense of discipline.

At Kenalily, we offer dance classes that introduce children to a variety of styles, from classical and folk to contemporary and freestyle. Through dance, students learn to express themselves freely while also working together as a team.

Special performances are encouraged during school events and celebrations like Annual Day, Independence Day, and cultural festivals. These opportunities not only build stage confidence but also help students appreciate the rich diversity of our dance traditions.

Trained instructors guide each child based on their rhythm, interest, and potential ensuring every child enjoys the experience while learning something new.

YOGA CLASSES:

Yoga is a holistic practice that nurtures the body, mind, and soul. It promotes physical strength, flexibility, and balance, while also enhancing concentration, emotional well-being, and inner calm.

At Kenalily, yoga is introduced to students as a joyful and mindful activity that supports their overall development. Through age-appropriate postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and relaxation techniques, children learn the importance of self-awareness, focus, and healthy living.

Regular yoga sessions help students manage stress, improve posture, and build resilience, both physically and mentally. The calm and focused environment created during these sessions encourages discipline, patience, and mindfulness.

Yoga is also integrated into special occasions and wellness weeks, where students demonstrate what they’ve learned and share the benefits of yoga with the wider school community.
